Elim provides North Wales with Peugeot & Citroen specialist services, as well as a great range of new and used cars and vans. Elim is truly a different type of used car dealership that puts the customer first, and their sales and service centres are at the forefront of this guarantee. The problem was that you couldn’t see this anywhere on their site.
THE CHALLENGE: Elim was stuck with a generic out of the box franchised website governed by Peugeot and Citroen. They were tied down by the limitations of the platform’s technology, running their car database and unable to customise the sites user experience to differentiate themselves from any other local car dealership.
Communicating a brand proposition
We created a custom solution for them to be able to clearly communicate their unique value proposition and to really sell through their new website. This started with a complete rebranding and repositioning project to create a brand and core messaging that would not only communicate their uniqueness but also resonate with their target audience. The vibrant blue was used to portray brand trust and the grey illustrated the mechanical nature of the brand. The shape of the logo was created to be recognised as an Anglesey landmark so that local customers could easily identify with it.

The second phase was to re-design and create an effective car buying experience online, one that was not only easy to use, but that reflected the great customer service and personal attention that visitors to the Elim dealership receive and that converted, providing qualified leads. So in addition to creating a site that included an extensive search facility that would help users find their dream car, we created a set of unique features and content to help facilitate the buying process including featured cars, real testimonials showing customers vehicles and a selection of cross-selling services including MOTs, bespoke Peugeot and Citroen servicing, motability and finance options.
This new site has allowed the team at Elim to push the envelope for selling cars online and do a larger percentage of their sales process on their website. The newly branded website has also given them the ability to effectively communicate their brand message and their story, allowing them to build a loyal audience in Anglesey.
